    How to watermark images

    1. Add your photos

Drop up to 20 images onto the panel, or choose files. JPEG, PNG, WebP, and GIF are accepted; they stay on your device.

    2. Set up your watermark

Type your text, upload a PNG or SVG logo, or use both. Pick the size, color, opacity, position, and margin.

    3. Check the preview

The preview redraws as you adjust, showing exactly what the exported file will look like on the selected photo.

    4. Download your images

Save the selected photo, every photo one by one, or the whole batch as a zip. Exports carry only the mark you set up.

    Features

    • Text and logo layers

Stamp a copyright line, a logo, or both at once. The logo draws above the text, and text can tile across the whole photo.

    • One setup for the whole batch

Sizes and margins are percents of each photo's shorter side, so your watermark stays proportional on every file.

    • No mark of ours

Exports contain your photo plus the text and logo you turned on. kitwisp never stamps its own name on your work.

    • Private by design

Drawing and encoding happen in a canvas in this tab. A strict content security policy blocks outbound requests.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark multiple images at once?

Yes. Add up to 20 photos in one batch, and the same watermark setup is applied to all of them. Export everything as a single zip, or save files one by one. The placement stays proportional because sizes are measured against each photo's shorter side.

Is this a free Watermarkly alternative?

Yes. kitwisp does what paid desktop watermark apps such as Watermarkly do for the common case: your own text or logo, live preview, and batch export. It runs in your browser, needs no account, and never adds a watermark of its own to your photos.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Every step runs locally in your browser: photos are decoded, drawn, and encoded inside this tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and the site's content security policy blocks outbound requests as a technical guarantee.

Do I need an account to use the watermark tool?

No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email wall. Open the page, add your photos, and download the results. Exporting is never locked behind a payment.

What image and logo formats are supported?

Photos can be JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF; animated GIFs are saved as still PNGs. HEIC and TIFF photos need to be exported as JPEG or PNG first. Logos can be PNG or SVG, up to 4 MB and 4,096 px per side.

Does the watermark tool work on my phone?

Yes. The layout adapts to small screens, and you can pick photos straight from your camera roll. Processing happens on your device, so it also works on a slow connection.
